Hasi Silva

Hasi is a Chartered Accountant with a strong focus on financial reporting for charitable and not-for-profit entities. He works closely with clients to prepare technically sound, well-supported and audit-ready financial statements in accordance with the applicable Public Benefit Entity (PBE) Financial Reporting Standards, helping organisations meet their reporting obligations and make the year-end audit process as smooth as possible.

With experience in audit and assurance in New Zealand, Hasi understands what auditors look for and how to strengthen financial reporting, supporting schedules and year-end documentation. He also brings commercial finance experience from his previous role as a Finance Executive for an insurance broker in Sri Lanka.

Hasi holds a Bachelor of Applied Management in Accounting from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, where he achieved the highest aggregate accounting marks and received academic excellence awards from BDO and CA ANZ. He also holds a Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the United Kingdom.

Outside work, Hasi enjoys the gym, travelling and discovering new places.
